These mixed media works on paper are a continuation of the “Topographic Compilations” series, begun with cardboard reliefs cast in bronze in 2018. Using maps or graphic references of a place, each work begins with a process of free-association, connecting and layering real and imagined relationships in time and space. The collages are stories, open to interpretation, and I hope the viewer finds as much joy in the engagement with the visual and conceptual references as I do when making them.
